Miryang Youn (지은이)
Born in Masan, South Korea, She graduated from Chung-Ang University, passed the Public Administration Examination, and worked for the Ministry of Unification in South Korea from 1987 to 2015.
She holds a master’s degree from Seoul National University and a doctorate from London School of Economics and Political Science, U. K..
From 2001 to 2005, She was a member of the South Korean delegation to the South-North Red Cross Talks, the South-North Shipping Talks, and the South-North Ministerial Talks.
She served as the President of Settlement Support Center for North Korean Refugees (Hanawon) from May 2009 to June 2012 and as the President of National Institute for Unification Education from August 2013 to February 2015.
