1970년부터 학부와 대학원 수업 모두를 가르친 시카고 수도권에 있는 큰 학교인 로욜라대학교의 심리학과 명예교수이다. 그는 1966년 뉴멕시코대학교에서 학부를 졸업하였다. 이후 노스웨스턴대학교에서 1968년 석사학위를, 1970년 Ph.D. 학위를 받았다. 인간의 인지와 실험 방법론 분야의 전문가로서 그는 인간의 기억, 비판적 사고, 통계와 연구 방법론에 관한 책들을 공동 제작하였다. 미국 심리학회(부문 1, 2, 3)와 심리과학협회의 위원이다. 1994년 로욜라대학교의 인문과학부에서 교육 우수상인 Sujack 상을 수상하였다.

Seo Ryeung Ju is a professor in the Department of Housing and Interior Design at Kyung Hee University. She established the Asian Research Center for Housing (ARCH) as an anchor of the Asian Housing Education & Research Network, which serves as a professional network for researchers and professionals in the area of housing studies in Asian regions. As her first action with ARCH, she organized the first Southeast Asian Housing Forum, titled “Commonality and Diversity in Southeast Asian Housing: A Search for New Identity,” which was held in Seoul, Korea, on October 6-7, 2011, with twelve housing professionals from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. This laid groundwork for sharing the housing cultures of each Southeast Asian country and building a strong academic network.
Born in 1967, studied architecture at the Illinois Institute of Chicago and interior design at the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Course-related placements and scholarships in Greece (set design) and Italy (painting). In 1993 she was awarded the Art Institute of Chicago’s Harold Schiff Fellowship. 2000 ? 2005 research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin. PhD on the History of Zoo Architecture. Since 2016 Professor for Interior Design at the Anhalt University of Applied Arts in Dessau, next to Bauhaus.
올드 도미니언 대학교에서 교육 리더십 및 상담 학과장이었고, 현재는 상담 및 사회복지학과 교수로 재직중이다. 누크럭 박사는 30년 이상 상담 교육과 사회 복지를 가르쳐왔다. 또한 약물 남용 상담가, 위기 센터 상담가, 정신 건강 센터의 외래환자 치료사, 학교 심리학자, 학교 상담가, 개인 상담 심리학자, 전문 상담가 면허소지자로서 일해왔다. 누크럭 박사는 많은 논문, 교재의 장들을 썼고, 8권의 책을 저술하였다. 저서로는 《Experiencing the World of the Counselor》, 《Counseling Theory and Practice》, 《Skills and Techniques for Human Service Professionals》, 《Essentials of Testingand Assessment for Counselors, Social Workers, and Psychologists》, 《The Sage Encyclopedia of Theory in Counseling and Psychotherapy》가 있다. 또한 상담 기술을 보여주는 DVD를 개발하고, 상담과 심리치료의 주요 이론들을 배울 수 있는 쌍방향 웹사이트를 개발하였다.
